The route is a an approx. 6.5 mile loop going over the moors having good views over Tintwistle and surrounding areas, initially there is an uphill section which will take us up to the Trig point on wild bank hill where you can see the whole of Manchester on a nice day, we will then head along the moors doing a circular route walking past walker wood reservoir then heading back to the wagon and horses pub
The walk is hilly in parts and also open countryside so ensure walking shoes and due to the weather changing at the blink of an eye bring waterproofs and warm kit just to be safe available for all ages if children under 12 are attending must be accompanied by adults, and due to the terrain the route would not be suitable for wheel chairs
