Description:

HMR Circle Walking Group is a fun and relaxed way to take part in walks, treks and strolls. We also offer a range of social events, practical support and other services aimed at the over 50’s

Boroughs:

Our walks take place across Heywood, Middleton & Rochdale, as well as Shaw and Crompton in Oldham and Prestwich in Bury.

Our Walks:

Our walks are designed to be accessible and inclusive, a great way to meet friends old and new and also stay fit, connected and most importantly have fun!

Our walks have 3 levels, Strolls around local parks, Walks which are between 3-4 miles and Treks which are 4 miles+.

The strolls last around 30 minutes, with the walks being 1-1.5 hours and the treks 1.5-2 hours

We have walks to suit all levels, our strolls are for those with limited mobility and they will take place around local parks and will last around 30 minutes.
The walks are around 3-4 miles and take place on fairly even ground and are a great way to get back into walking.
The treks are over 4 miles and are suited to those who are regular walkers.
