Walk description:

This walking activity is designed for young girls aged 14-20, offering a chance to connect with nature, boost well-being, and forge lasting friendships. In today’s world, young women face numerous pressures and challenges that can impact their mental and physical health. Opportunities to de-stress, connect with nature, and build supportive relationships are more important than ever. This activity aims to provide a safe and encouraging environment where participants can experience the benefits of spending time outdoors, improve their well-being, and build a strong sense of community. The walk will also incorporate “talking photos,” capturing images of the nature they encounter – the trees, the flowers, and the girls themselves enjoying the walk together. These photos and videos will be shared on social media, encouraging other girls to get active, experience the beauty of nature, and reap the rewards of walking. This initiative will not only promote physical activity but also enhance social skills, improve mental and physical health, and highlight the many other benefits of spending time outdoors.
Our organization aims at bringing people from diverse backgrounds and cultures together and  fostering unity and inclusivity. We primarily serve disadvantaged and underrepresented communities, including minorities, refugees, asylum seekers, immigrants, individuals with low income, unemployed women, abused women, and those facing challenges like language barriers, social exclusion, and marginalization. These individuals often have limited access to resources and opportunities.
Our goal is to empower individuals to develop their skills, reach their full potential, and become active participants in society. We prioritize supporting women to increase confidence and be independent. We also help women to improve their language and communication skills. By enhancing their language abilities, we aim to facilitate their integration into the community and effective social interaction.
We also educate women about self-care and healthy living. We provide various social, developmental, and recreational activities, such as coffee mornings, cooking classes, arts and crafts sessions, sewing workshops, outdoor activities, and community events. Our motto, “Enjoy, Learn, and Stay Connected,” reflects our commitment to creating a welcoming and enriching environment for all.
