All are welcome. You are advised to wear appropriate clothing and hiking boots. We will walk even if it is raining but not in extreme weather conditions! There are several stiles and steep inclines. Sorry no dogs. Leaving Nuttall Park, Ramsbottom the walk follows the River Irwell to Nuttall before going up the fields and across the M66 to Nangreaves. Then follows the Cobbled Bury Old Road past what was The Lord Raglan pub to what is now Grants Tower, resurrected with stone from the Tower which collapsed in 1944. The walk returns past Park Farm, through a field, across the motorway and down Jacobs Ladder back to the Nuttall Park.
