We have been walking as a group each Thursday for four and a half years. Each Thursday walk last one hour and covers around two miles. It is a very social walk with lots of chatting between our walkers. Usually, we have around sixteen walkers each week.
Le set off from Lydia’s Tearoom in Foxdenton Park and return for a chat and a brew. The walkers are mostly retired man and women. Our aim is to get residents walking around our area.
Chadderton Together is a registered charity who organise events and activities around Chadderton. We also operate Lydia’s Tearoom as a not-for-profit cafe in Foxdenton Park.
Currently, we are in the process of restoring the Grade 11* Foxdenton Hall also in Foxdenton Park.
