BEATS (Bury Exercise and Therapy Scheme ) Community Wellbeing Walk

Walk description:

This 3-mile circular walk crosses the River Irwell and heads into Burrs Country Park, following the River to The Lamppost Cafe, where walkers can enjoy a tea or coffee (or bring there own refreshments to enjoy outside) before heading back to Castle Leisure Centre.

These walks are mainly on level ground, although the footpath alongside the river may be a little muddy/wet at times if it has been raining so sturdy footwear is recommended.
