Walk description:

This (1 ½ hour) walk is for anyone who wants to get beneath the surface of Manchester and see the city with fresh eyes. Led by a Mancunian architect, it’s an introduction to some of the city’s best-known landmarks, but with the added stories, hidden details and local insights that reveal Manchester’s true character.

As well as exploring how the city has changed over time, the walk encourages people to slow down, look more closely and enjoy discovering the city on foot. It links naturally to the GM Walking Festival by celebrating walking as a way to connect with place, history and the character of Manchester.

Ric runs a series of architect-led walking tours that combine local knowledge, built-environment insight and a genuine love of the city.
