A mobility friendly walk set up in Tottington with the aim to improve mobility, confidence and social isolation. The walk is for anyone who wants to get out and not walk on their own. We meet at Tower Family Healthcare – Tottington Site, Market Street, Bury BL8 4AD on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month at 10.45. We enjoy a walk along the lines (usually around 45 mins – 1hr) and then go to The Tottington Centre for a refreshments afterwards. This walk was set up by social prescribing for Bury GP Federation, as there wasn’t a local walk for Tottington residents.
