River Beal Walk, Wheel and Litter Pick with the Green Superheroes

Walk description:

We are a social care provider who support people with learning disabilities, autism and complex mental health needs to live fulfilling lives across Greater Manchester and Lancashire. Our Green Superheroes project supports people to participate in local community events, take steps towards helping the environment and enjoy the benefits of being in nature. Taking part in litter picks has the power to help people feel more connected to their local area and brings people of various backgrounds together for a shared purpose.
Our walk is for everyone – we will take part in a gentle stroll along wheelchair accessible routes with a litter pick along the way. If there are enough people we will have the option to break into small groups to cover different areas. Equipment is provided but please feel free to bring your own litter picks.

Meet at River Beal Cafe and Community Hub at 1pm for a 1:30pm start.
