This friendly, guided walk to Hollingworth Lake is open to members of Creative Living Centre who would benefit from a gentle, supportive group environment. It is particularly suited to individuals experiencing loneliness, anxiety, or other mental health challenges, as well as anyone looking to improve their wellbeing through connection and movement.
The aim of the walk is to promote positive mental health through time outdoors, light physical activity, and meaningful social interaction. By creating a relaxed and inclusive space, we hope to help people build confidence, reduce isolation, and feel part of a community.
This event forms part of both Greater Manchester Walking Festival and our programme for Mental Health Awareness Week, aligning with the theme of supporting mental wellbeing through simple, accessible activities that bring people together.
The walk will take place at Hollingworth Lake, offering a scenic and accessible route in a calm, natural setting.
Creative Living Centre is a Prestwich based mental health charity that provides a range of creative, social and wellbeing activities, supporting people to connect, express themselves, and improve their mental health in a safe and welcoming environment.
