Walk description:

Join Guide Dogs for a walk through Manchester City Centre to learn more about how people with sight loss navigate the built environment and how public spaces across Greater Manchester can be made more accessible. Led by Vision Rehabilitation Specialists from Guide Dogs, you will also hear directly from people with sight loss about their experiences navigating streets and public spaces.

Date and Time: Wednesday 20th May; 1pm until 2.30pm (Please arrive 10 minutes early so we can set off on time).

Who is this walk for?

This walk is open to all but aimed at those involved in designing streets or public spaces at local authorities or in the private sector.

Starting Point: Near St Peter’s Square – the exact meeting point will be confirmed after booking.
