This is the second of three walks offered by the Manchester Pedestrian Club in this Festival, and the middle-length, at 7.5 miles, flat. It takes the course of a newly opened path around the edge of Lindow Common, with a dozen points of interest, including historic halls, Quaker hall, discovered 16th century Puritan graveyard, traditional peat cutting, peat restoration project, and site of Lindow Man found preserved in the bog.
