This walk is the second in a 10 week programme which aims to engage participants from refugee, asylum seeker, and migrant backgrounds; focusing on women with young children and older adults. Walks will take place in Bury East (BL9), specifically Fishpool, Redvales, and Pimhole, using routes from the Bury self-led walks booklet where appropriate. Each session will last approximately 2 hours, including the walk and refreshments at the Fair Futures building in the centre of Bury. Fair Futures will provide multilingual support and interpretation during walks to foster inclusion and confidence. They will also aim to train suitable participants to lead future walks, ensuring sustainability beyond the project period.
