Join City of Trees and The Whitworth Art Gallery for a monthly activity at Whitworth Park in Manchester, designed for anyone living with a diagnosis of dementia, their friends, family or carers. Walks take place on the second Tuesday of every month.
There are two walks – one at 11am and one at 2pm. We will be outdoors for about an hour (weather dependent), with tea, biscuits and a fun nature based activity inside.
Walks to suit:
A short and easy walk suitable for beginners and those in wheelchairs. Walks will be usually less than 1 mile with numerous stops and plenty of benches to sit and rest if required.
