Welcome to Manchester Coach Rambles

Free on Sundays, want to spend a full day in the lovely countryside, enjoying the views while walking and making friends along the way? Then come and join us!

We are a part of the Greater Manchester and High Peak Area within the nationwide Ramblers organisation. New members are always welcome.

The main aims of the Manchester Coach Rambles Group, the Manchester Area Ramblers and the Manchester Associates Rambling Club are to:

• Promote walking
• Preserve our rights of way
• Avoid using private transport and promote public transport
• Enjoy the countryside
• Support local businesses

Our walks

Three Ramblers walking groups – Manchester Coach Rambles, Manchester Area Ramblers and Manchester Associates Rambling Club (affiliated to the Ramblers) – organise walks using coaches and public transport every Sunday throughout the year. All walks are led by experienced volunteer walk leaders.

If you prefer to walk on Saturdays, then you can join the Manchester Weekend Walkers’ guided walks. Details are on their website.
