We are a social walking club which started back in 1994. We comprise two groups who meet every Tuesday for walks in and around our local countryside. One group aims to cover 6 to 7 miles of moderate walking, whilst the second group look to complete 3 to 4 miles at an easier pace.
If you live locally, enjoy walking in & around the Pennines, you would be welcome to join us.
Although mainly in Saddleworth & Oldham, we also travel to areas of Tameside, Rochdale, Marsden, Holmfirth, Meltham and sometimes locations further afield.
Our walks
The A group starts at 11am and including a lunch stop, usually finishes between 2 to 3pm after covering approximately 6 to 7 miles.
The B group starts at 1pm and aims to complete 3 to 4 miles by about 3pm
