Walk with Me – Bury

Welcome to Walk with Me – Bury Health Walks

Walk with Me is a series of local walks led by trained walk leaders in association with Bury Sport and Physical Activity Service and the National Walking for Health Scheme. Our walks are free, fun and friendly – perfect to help you get active and meet new people.

Walk with Me provides a variety of led walking opportunities throughout Bury to encourage local people to get outdoors, be more active and have fun.

Enjoy a regular free short walk, near to where you live, at a pace that works for you and with specially trained leaders showing you the way.

Walking for Health

Walking for Health is England’s largest network of health walks with over 360 active walking schemes, helping people across the country lead a more active lifestyle. We’ve done this with great success for over 14 years, improving the mental and physical well-being of thousands of people.

Our walks are short and over easy terrain, and are open to everyone but are especially aimed at those who are least active.

Many of our walkers start walking to improve their health, but find it easy to keep coming back because of all the new friends they’ve made. So as well as all the physical health benefits, Walking for Health is also great for your social life!
