Manchester Green Trail 10 – Barlow Moor Road to Martinscroft Metrolink
3.5 miles long
Overview
An urban yet largely green walk that takes you through Kenworthy Woods and into Wythenshawe Park.
This is one of the 14 routes of Manchester’s Green Trail, which connects many of the beautiful green spaces and tree lined streets around the city. The Green Trail is a partnership project between Manchester City Council, The Ramblers and Transport for Greater Manchester. Leaflets describing the other stages of the trail can also be downloaded from this site.
Accessibility and facilities
While many sections of the route are likely to be suitable for wheelchair-users and for families with pushchairs, we have not been able to verify conditions on the ground. For this reason, we are not currently classifying this walk as wheelchair or pushchair-friendly.
All of the walks on Manchester’s Green Trail are designed to be – and are most easily – accessed by public transport.
