Join us for a walk at Dovestone Reservoir as part of the Greater Manchester Walking Festival! Save the date for Saturday, 11th May, and meet us at 12:30 pm in the Main Car Park of Dovestone Reservoir, located at Bank Ln, Greenfield, Oldham OL3 7NE (what3words ///slippery.importing.pulps).
For those traveling by public transport, two convenient options are available. You can take the train to Greenfield Station or catch a bus to the Village of Greenfield. From either stop, it’s just a 20 to 30-minute walk to reach the car park. Please ensure you plan your journey accordingly to arrive on time, as we’ll be setting off from the car park promptly at 12:30 pm.
Remember to bring water and a light lunch, as we’ll be pausing at a scenic viewpoint for a meal with an incredible view.
