Canal Walk from The Boathouse Appley Bridge

Walk description:

Join us on our Big Wigan Walk Week Canal Walk.

Walks are suitable for those looking for bit more of a challenge, enjoy the great outdoors and the beautiful scenery.

The walk will leave from The Boathouse at Appley Bridge and proceed to the canal.

It will showcase the recent improvements to the tow path.

Approx 5 miles. The walk ends at The Post Code where you can go into WIgan Town Centre to catch a train back to Appley Bridge or have a wander.

Please wear suitable footwear and dress for the weather.

Please arrive 15 minutes before the walk start time to register.

The Boathouse at Appley Bridge and Crook Hall Inn open at 12pm.
