Canal Walk

Walk description:

Join us on our Big Wigan Walk Week (BWWW) Canal Walk in collaboration with The Post Code Walking and Cycling Festival.

Walks are suitable for those looking for bit more of a challenge, enjoy the great outdoors and the beautiful scenery.

The walk will leave from The Post Code and proceed to the canal.

It will showcase the recent improvements to the tow path approx 5 miles.

The walk ends at Appley Bridge where you can catch a train back into Wigan or join the next walk for the return journey back to The Post Code.

Please arrive 15 minutes before the walk start time to register.

Please wear suitable footwear and dress for the weather.

The Boathouse at Appley Bridge opens at 12pm.
