Cadishead based charity, Hamilton Davies Trust worked with the local community to transform Irlam Station into a modern cafe/heritage hub. Showcasing, how the Manchester Ship Canal transformed a farming community into an industrial landscape of steel, coal and engineering. Celebrating the 130th birthday of the biggest British engineering project of it’s time.
