Manchester Aquatic Centre is in the heart of the City Centre, situated next to the University’s, we want people to take pride in the green areas surrounding our city centre. That’s why we want you to join us! in the city centre clean up walk! situated around the university areas in Manchester. This would involve roughly a 7.5-10km walk around areas like Hulme park, Whitworth Park and Brunswick Park, all starting and finishing at the Manchester Aquatic Centre
At GLL, in this new year we have new targets in terms of sustainability and a desire to positively impact the community around us as a whole, these are two of our core values, the walk we propose would take place every other Wednesday morning for approximately 6 weeks, to ultimately see if we can leave a positive impact on some of our local areas green spaces as well as busy student hubs.
Tea and coffee will be provided to keep you hydrated! we can’t wait to see you get involved!
