This community walk is organised by Hawthorn Medical Centre and is designed especially for our patients, although everyone is welcome.
We will be walking together from the practice to Birchfields Park and back — a gentle, accessible route suitable for all ages and abilities (free parking outside the practice).
The aim of the walk is simple: to give people a chance to be active, enjoy some fresh air, and connect with others in a relaxed, supportive environment. It’s as much about conversation and community as it is about movement.
This year’s festival theme, Celebrating Connected Communities, fits perfectly with what we do. Walking side by side creates space for people to meet, chat, and build relationships within their local area.
