Walk description:

The walking and wheeling group is suitable for anyone 50+ but all ages and abilities are welcome. With flat ground and plenty of benches it’s accessible to everyone including those who use mobility aids. A chance to meet new people have a good natter whilst enjoying some gentle exercise in a beautiful park. Followed by refreshments at the Hub

On generally well-maintained, level surfaces. Suitable for less confident walkers, families with young children, or those simply looking for a short stroll. Up to 2 miles/3 km.
Leisurely
Mainly on gentle gradients but possibly including steps, stiles, unsurfaced paths or longer distances (up to 5 miles/8 km). Walking boots and waterproof clothing may be useful.
Moderate
May include some steep paths, open country or longer distances (up to 10 miles/16 km). Walking boots and warm, waterproof clothing recommended.
