About Us

We would be delighted to welcome anyone who has been affected by cancer, including carers, family and friends, to come along to this welcoming and supporting group. Whether you’re being treated for cancer or you’re recovering, walking can help to keep your mind healthy as well as your body. It’s free and fun – all you need is a pair of comfortable walking shoes! Each walk involves stopping somewhere for refreshments and a chat. New walkers always welcome.

We offer walks in various locations in Bolton.

Our Walks

We usually meet on the first Friday of each month at 1pm at various places in the Bolton area all year round. The walks include beautiful locations such as Rivington, Smithills and Entwistle. We also do two longer walks each year. The walks are all around 1 mile in length on mostly flat and accessible paths, usually taking around 30 minutes.
