#MileShyClub has teamed up with mental health and wellbeing service Blu Sci, Voice of BME Trafford, Friends of Victoria Park, the Pakistani Resource Centre and Age UK to introduce not one, not two, but FIVE beginner walking groups into Trafford.
Our walks and other activities
The beginner walking groups take place on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in Trafford, and are open to everyone and anyone, and inclusive to all abilities. See below for locations for these days.
Tuesdays:
10am Partington Family Medical Practice, 95 Central Rd, Partington, Manchester M31 4FY
11.30am Victoria Park Community Centre, Stretford, Manchester M32 0AD
1pm Coppice Library and Wellbeing Centre, Coppice Ave, Sale M33 4ND
Wednesdays:
11.30am Old Trafford Wellbeing Centre, Broome House, 54-56 Seymour Grove, Old Trafford, Stretford, Manchester M16 0LN
1pm Limelight, 1 St Brides Way, Old Trafford, Stretford, Manchester M16 9NW
Each walk is short and easy, and will include:
Mobility and flexibility warm ups – to help revive any aching muscles and joints.
A gentle, easy-going, social walk of no more than a mile.
Cool down stretches
Walks are delivered by qualified Advanced Walk Leaders and cost £2 pay-as-you-go
