Abbey Hey community walk

Walk description:

It is a newly formed walk group in Abbey Hey, resident-led (with support from staff), one-hour community walk, every Wednesday 11am-12pm.

It aims to build healthy walking habit in daily life for people over 50s.

People with walking frame or sticker, older men and Pakistan women also joined our weekly walks.

Yellow Brick Road / Fallowfield Loop is one of our walking routes – enjoy the nature, fresh air, green spaces, birds and wildlife, feel the historical canal or railway routes.

Walk group members have free waterproof jacket, free quarterly walk lunch and WhatsApp group for easy communication.
